Geochemical Survey

Geochemical surveys are used to look for chemical elements or materials in the groundwater or soil that could be detrimental to the installed pipes or other installed structures or present a health risk if they are released into the environment during construction or future operations. If polluted soil is found during an investigation, any such soil excavated would normally be disposed of in a suitable disposal facility. In this case, trenchless technology can provide significant advantage over open-cut construction since trenchless excavation methods usually disturb/remove far less soil than open-cut methods.
