Nuclear Methods

As the name implies, nuclear methods use radiation sources to gather information about the properties of the ground surrounding a borehole in which the scanning device is inserted. Depending on the type of radiation used, information about changes in soil density or the presence of voids and changes in groundwater conditions can be inferred.
