39 technical papers, a panel on New Zealand's water future, and presenters from across Asia, Europe and the United States — the full schedule for ISTT's 40th Anniversary conference is now published

The full 🔗conference program for International No-Dig Auckland 2026 has been published on the event website, giving delegates their first complete look at the technical sessions, keynotes and panel discussion on offer this October. The program brings together 39 technical papers across two days, running in three concurrent streams — Rehabilitation, New Installation, and Other — alongside a panel session on the future of New Zealand's water sector.

Day One opens with keynote presentations from Declan Downey and Samuel Ariaratnam. Day Two turns the focus to New Zealand, with David Hermans (MCERT) addressing the policy landscape enabling the country's development future, and Lorraine Kendrick (Water New Zealand) speaking to the opportunities and challenges facing the water sector following reform.

The panel, titled “The Road Ahead: Trenchless Technology in New Zealand’s Water Future,” brings together Mark Crowle (Watercare), Dietmar Londer (Auckland Council), Dave Neru (Veolia) and Alex Cabrera (Selwyn Water) to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the sector following New Zealand's water reforms.

The technical program draws presenters from across Asia (Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore), Europe (Germany, Finland, Italy, UK), the United States, Australia and New Zealand, reflecting the global reach of trenchless technology and ISTT's network of 27 affiliated Societies.

Around the technical sessions, the program includes the Welcome Reception and Exhibition Opening, a Networking Evening at Auckland Town Hall, and closes with the ISTT Gala Awards Dinner at the Aotea Centre.

This will be the first International No-Dig conference ever held in New Zealand, and coincides with ISTT's 40th Anniversary year.
